The Sirichan Philosophy

The Sirichan Philosophy

The philosophy of Sirichan Center is shaped by the therapeutic approach and lived experience of Dr. Sirichan, a Doctor of Thai Traditional Medicine licensed by the Thai Ministry of Public Health with more than 20 years of clinical experience in therapeutic Thai bodywork and traditional healing practices.

Her approach has also been influenced by traditional Thai healing lineage passed down through her grandmother and through oral and experience-based learning that has long been part of traditional Thai medicine.

In her role as a teacher, Dr. Sirichan believes therapeutic bodywork cannot be deeply understood through memorization alone. These skills develop through feeling, repetition, guided correction, observation, and learning how to work with many different bodies and conditions over time.

The intention is not simply to teach techniques, but to help students develop therapeutic sensitivity, confidence, presence, and a deeper understanding of how to work effectively and sustainably.

This approach to learning is also one of the reasons the residency programs are delivered in educational collaboration with Payap University, combining traditional therapeutic knowledge with structured academic recognition.

Dr. Sirichan has also intentionally designed her restore programs around a slower and simpler rhythm that combines therapeutic bodywork, nourishing meals, movement, quiet surroundings, rest, and time away from constant stimulation.

Her short and extended stays create space for people to slow down, recover more naturally, restore energy, and reconnect with a healthier and more balanced way of living.

At the heart of the philosophy is the belief that healing, learning, and restoration are deeply connected — and that when given the right environment, guidance, pace, and attention, people naturally begin to reconnect with themselves in a healthier and more balanced way.
